Step back in time for a week-long celebration of Gilbert’s western heritage and a salute to the community spirit that has thrived for more than a half a century. Contestants come from all over the country to participate in Jackpot Roping, Barrel Racing and the Budweiser IPRA Rodeo. In addition to Rodeo Park, Gilbert Days offers an old-town parade and carnival, complete with rides, games, prizes, and an abundance of mouth-watering concession stands.

Each branch of the Peoria Library system offers members the chance to take part in some fun and interesting activities and events. There are free concerts, movies, crafts for teens, story time for toddlers and children and computer and internet lessons for youth and adults alike.
